The Arkansas Department of Education - Office of Teacher Quality is hosting a Beginning Administrator Induction Spring Follow-Up on Wednesday and Thursday, May 2 and May 3, 2007. This one (1) day training (to be held at the Clarion Resort on the Lake in Hot Springs, Arkansas) is for the Beginning Administrators who attended the Beginning Administrator Induction Training in July or September, and attended the Fall Follow-Up in December, 2006.
All school districts must assure that each Beginning Building Level Administrator and/or Curriculum/Program Administrator participates in all Induction activities (three meetings per year). Beginning Administrators are employed under an Additional Licensure Completion Program (ALCP), on an Initial Administrator License, or on a Standard Administrator License with less than one-year of administrator experience. Administrators on an ALCP must participate in all trainings and follow-ups during each year the ALCP is active (1–3 years).
