The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Distance Learning Center (DLC) will again offer courses for the 2007-2008 school year. The listing of classes and periods the classes will be offered may be accessed at http://dlc.k12.ar.us/pdf/Academic_Info/2007-2008_Course_Scheduling_Matrix.pdf. All classes are offered using Compressed Video Technology. Scheduling will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis and schools may begin submitting the required Schedule Request Form and signed Assurances no earlier than 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2007. Schedule requests will be accepted until class periods are full. The earlier a school returns the Schedule Request Form and signed Assurances, the greater the likelihood of receiving the requested time-period(s) desired. The required Schedule Request Form and Assurances may be accessed on the ADE Distance Learning Center’s website at http://dlc.k12.ar.us/pdf/Forms/Schedule_Request_Form_07-08.pdf.
IN ADDITION TO ADHERING TO THE ADE DLC BELL SCHEDULE, SCHOOLS SHOULD ATTEMPT TO MIRROR THE ADE DLC ACADEMIC CALENDAR TO MAXIMIZE INSTRUCTIONAL TIME.
