The Easter Seals Arkansas Technology and Curriculum Access Center, in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education-Special Education, will be offering five professional development workshops this spring and summer entitled Accommodations and Assistive Technology for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Students with Specific Learning Disabilities. The workshop is designed to assist teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, parents and related services providers in using evidenced based accommodations and assistive technology to provide support to students with autism spectrum disorders and those with specific learning disabilities. The workshop format is hands-on and demonstration. It will be held at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 10900 Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212 and has a $75 fee for the day. The workshops begin at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m. Please see registration form for workshops dates. Participants will be responsible for lunch. Registration is limited to 50 persons per session and is considered complete after payment is received. Confirmations will be e-mailed to participants.
