The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is pleased to announce a grant competition for proposals funded under Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT).
The EETT Competitive Grants are made available through the U.S. Department of Education’s No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation and are distributed on a competitive basis to local education agencies (LEAs). Approximately $2 million is available to LEAs in Arkansas for competitive grants during this funding cycle. To submit a competitive proposal, an applicant must meet the definition of high-need LEA or eligible local partnership. If a partnership is established, the goals of the proposal must meet the needs of the high-need LEA.
Proposals for competitive grants are due on Friday, May 18, 2007. Guidelines for preparing grant applications as well as selection criteria are contained in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP).
