The above referenced regulatory authority required the publication and distribution of the state of Arkansas Custodial and Maintenance Manual. The manual has been completed and is available for distribution at this time.

Copies of the manual specifically addressed to each Superintendent will be delivered to the respective Co-ops within the next ten days to two weeks. Additional copies of the manual may be downloaded from the Division’s website at http//www.arkansasfacilites.com.

The manual is to be used as a guide to assist school districts in developing the custodial and maintenance portions of the Master Plans to be submitted in 2008. Specific requirements regarding the custodial and operation and maintenance portions of the Master Plan will be forthcoming in the Master Plan guidelines to be distributed in the very near future.
