At the June 11, 2007, meeting, the State Board of Education approved the request from the Department of Education to seek public input on the Proposed Rules Governing the Funding of Public School Districts. A public hearing will be held on Monday, July 30, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the ADE auditorium. This rule was developed to implement Ark. Code Ann. งง 6-11-105 and 6-20-2305, and Acts 272 and 461 of the 2007 regular session. Public notice will run in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette from July 12-14, 2007. Written comments will be accepted in Dr. Bobbie Davis’ office, Room 103B, #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201 until 3:45 p.m., August 10, 2007.
