The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is collecting information for the 2007-2008 Arkansas Education Directory. In previous years, this information was collected by facsimile machine. To streamline the process, this year the ADE Office of Communications is collecting the information via e-mail.
Superintendents or designees may verify information by visiting this Web page: http://arkansased.org/directory/directory_new.html. The deadline for doing so is Friday, July 27, 2007.
Easy-to-follow instructions are listed on the Web page to verify the information as correct or to submit corrections.
The Arkansas Education Directory will be published electronically this year. It will be available in PDF format so it may be downloaded as a whole or by specific section and placed in a binder. It will also be available in a searchable format online at ArkansasEd.org. This will allow corrections to be made to the directory throughout the year in a timely manner. Publication is expected to occur by early September.
