Acts 996 and 989 of 2007 amended Ark. Code Ann. §§ 6-21-811, 6-20-2508, 6-20-2507 and 6-21-806, these laws determine the responsibilities of the Commission for Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation and establishes the authority to administer the Catastrophic Program, the Facilities Distress Program, the Partnership Program, and the Master Plan Program. Proposed changes to the rules on the four programs have received approval by the Commission for Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation to be placed out for public comment. Accordingly, public hearings will be held on the following proposed rules in the Auditorium of the Arkansas Department of Education, #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR. at the dates and times listed below:
Facility Catastrophic Program Rule: 8:00 am, July 26, 2007
Facility Distress Program Rule: 9:00 am, July 26, 2007
Facility Partnership Program Rule: 8:00 am, July 27, 2007
Facility Master Plan Program Rule: 9:00 am, July 27, 2007
School district superintendents are encouraged to review the rules and provide comments as applicable.
