The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality is hosting the Fall Beginning Administrator Induction Training on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 11-12, 2007. Attendance for both days is required for any Beginning Administrator who did not attend the Induction Training in July. Mentors are encouraged to attend as well. This two-day training will be held at the Clarion Resort on the Lake, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
It is the school district’s responsibility to assure that each Beginning Administrator (Building Level and/or Curriculum/Program Administrator), paired with a practicing administrator mentor, participates in the Induction program. Administrators who: 1) hold an Initial license (as a Building Level or Curriculum/Program Administrator), or 2) hold a Standard license with less than one-year of administrative experience, or 3) are employed under an Administrator Licensure Completion Program (ALCP) are to attend this training.
