The Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation will begin a training program in August 2007 to assist districts in preparing Master Plans as required by Act 1426 of 2005. The deadline for the Master Plan submittals is February 1, 2008. The training will be hosted by the local Education Service Cooperatives and conducted by the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation.
Information and guidelines for the Master Plan submittals for 2008 may be found on the Division’s website at http//www.arkansasfacilities.com. The training schedule is attached below.
District representatives must attend the training to receive information required to input the Master Plan. Superintendents, facilities managers, and the persons most closely associated with the district’s Master Plan are requested to attend this training.
