The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released the commodity value per lunch for the 2007-2008 school year. This commodity value per lunch for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) has been set at $0.1875 for the period July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008. This is an increase of $0.0175 over last year.
