The State Board of Education approved the following rules to go out for public comment on the August 13, 2007, meeting.
>Proposed Rules Governing the Rewarding Excellence in Achievement Program (REAP).
>Proposed Rules Governing Arkansas Alternative Pay Programs.
>Revised Rules Governing Incentives for Teacher Recruitment and Retention in High Priority Districts with An Average Daily Membership of 1,000 or Fewer.
The public comment period for these rules will be August 24, 2007, through September 21, 2007. The public hearing will be held on September 11, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Auditorium.
