At the August 13, 2007, meeting, the State Board of Education approved the request from the Department of Education to Seek Public input on the Proposed Rule Governing The Processes to Ensure The Quality, Security, Validation, and Timeliness of Public School Data in The Arkansas Public School Computer Network (APSCN). A public hearing will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the ADE auditorium. This rule was developed in pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. зз 6-11-105, 6-11-128, and Act 723 of the 2007 regular session. Public notice ran in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette from August 22-24, 2007. Written comments will be accepted in the office of Dr. Bobbie Davis, Room 103B, #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201 until 3:00 pm September 21, 2007.
