Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 25-15-201 et seq., notice is given that a public hearing is scheduled on the Arkansas School Facility Manual, with emphasis on updates of Section 2, Chapter 7, in the Auditorium of the Arkansas Department of Education, #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas, on Friday, September 28th at 9:00 AM. Chapter 7 of the Arkansas School Facility Manual deals with the construction standards for the renovation, additions, and construction of school facilities in the State of Arkansas.
School district superintendents and maintenance personnel are encouraged to review the Arkansas School Facility Manual and provide comments as applicable. Written comments should be mailed to Douglas Eaton, Director, Arkansas Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation, 501 Woodlane St., Suite 600, Little Rock, AR 72201 by October 8, 2007.
