A Distance Learning Workshop will be held on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2007. The three-hour Workshop covering CHILD NUTRITION PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT will be offered from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. The training will include developing Personnel Handbooks and writing personnel policies for Child Nutrition Programs. Karen Franklin and Betty Baggett, Child Nutrition Unit Area Specialists, will share information on the need for Child Nutrition Personnel Handbooks, job descriptions and policies, and the steps of progressive discipline. Other issues involved in effective personnel management will be discussed.
