The proposed changes to the Rules Governing Nutrition and Physical Activity Standards and Body Mass Index (BMI) for Age Assessment Protocols in Arkansas Public Schools received final approval from the State Board of Education in the regularly scheduled meeting on August 13, 2007. The Rules have also been reviewed by the Arkansas Legislative Council. A copy of these Rules has been provided as an attachment. Please note the change in both physical activity requirements and BMI requirements.
