Beginning October 1, 2007, the fee structure for background checks submitted to the Arkansas State Police will change as follows.

*The fee for electronic internet submissions of the state background check requests to the Arkansas State Police (ASP) will increase from $20.00 to $22.00.

*The fee for the state background check requests that are mailed-in or walked-in to the Arkansas State Police (ASP) will increase form $23.00 to $25.00.

*The fee for the fingerprint based FBI background check is going down from $24.00 to $19.25
