At the September 10, 2007, meeting, the State Board of Education approved the request from the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) to seek public input on the Proposed Rule Governing the Use of Net Athletic Gate Receipts by Public School Districts. A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in room 201-A. This rule was developed pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. зз 6-11-105 and 6-20-415 (Act 1043 of the 2007). Public notice ran in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette from October 23-25, 2007. Written comments will be accepted in the Office of Dr. Bobbie Davis, Room 103B #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201 until 3:00 p.m. October 30, 2007.
