The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality is hosting the Beginning Administrator Induction Fall Follow-Up Meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, November 7 and 8, 2007. This meeting, for the Beginning Administrators who attended Induction Training in July or September 2007, will be held at the Clarion Resort on the Lake in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Beginning Administrators are to register for either day (November 7th or 8th) and attend only one (1) of the two days. Mentors are not required to attend this Follow-up.
All school districts must assure that each Beginning Building Level Administrator and/or Curriculum/Program Administrator participates in all Induction activities (three meetings per year). Beginning Administrators are those employed under an Additional Licensure Completion Program (ALCP), or an Initial Administrator License or a Standard Administrator License with less than one-year of administrator experience. Those on an ALCP must participate in all trainings and follow-up meetings during each year the ALCP is active.
