A Distance Learning Workshop will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2007. The three-hour Workshop covering Managing Three Steps at the School Level will be offered from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. The training will include an overview and detailed information on using the Three Steps to Healthy School Meals menu management system. Patricia Winders, Child Nutrition Area Specialist, will share information on the recently released 3rd Edition of Three Steps. This will include data entry on production records, including substitutions. Also covered will be how recipes, food descriptions and food labeling fit into the School Meals Initiative (SMI).
