The Easter Seals Arkansas Technology and Curriculum Access Center, in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), Special Education, will offer workshops on the topic of Technology and Data Collection Closes the Achievement Gap. This workshop will be offered at the following locations on the following dates:

This workshop is intended for general and special education teachers, and building and special education administrators. It would be beneficial if schools sent teams of general and special education teachers and administrators. The workshop is designed to assist staff in effective data collection to improve performance for students in Closing the Gap. The workshop will include various data collection practices, data systems, display/analysis and use of data for improving group and individual educational decision making. The format for this workshop is cooperative learning and demonstration. Seating is limited. There is a $100 per person fee.

The workshop is five (5) hours long from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., which includes one (1) hour for lunch. Certificates will be given at the end of the session for participation in this professional development activity.
