The Department of Education has reviewed and researched the possibility of using College Preparatory Enrichment Program (CPEP) funds for programs involving preparation for tests other than the American College Test (ACT) and hereby advises school districts that funds received from the Department of Education under the CPEP may be used for preparation programs for the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, as well as or instead of the PLAN and EXPLORE programs or preparation for the ACT.
