On Monday, February 11, 2008, the Arkansas State Board of Education approved for public review the proposed revisions to the Special Education and Related Services Procedural Requirements and Program Standards and the Special Education Eligibility Criteria and Program Guidelines for Children with Disabilities Ages 3-21. The 60-day public comment period will run from February 12, 2008, through April 11, 2008. The 30-day written comment period will run from February 18, 2008, to 4:30 p.m. on March 18, 2008.

The documents may also be obtained on-site at the Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
