The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality will host the Beginning Administrator Induction Spring Follow-Up Training on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29 and April 30, 2008. This is a one (1) day training for Beginning Administrators in attendance at the Beginning Administrator Induction Trainings in July or September, 2007, and will be held at the Holiday Inn Presidential in Little Rock.
Beginning Administrators’ attendance at this training (ONE OF THE TWO DAYS) is required by the Arkansas Department of Education in compliance with the Rules Governing Licensure of Beginning Administrators. Beginning Administrators are employed on an Administrator Licensure Completion Plan (ALCP), holding an Initial Administrator License, or holding a Standard Administrator License and are employed as a first year administrator. Beginning Administrators on an ALCP must participate in all trainings and all follow-ups during each year the ALCP is active (1–3 years).
