Child Nutrition (CN) Directors Certification Training will be held July 7-18, 2008, at the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway, Arkansas. Registration will be Monday, July 7 from 9:30am until 10:00am. The first general session will begin at 10:00am. All other classes will be held daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Lunch will be provided daily.
To attend CN Directors Certification Training, complete the following steps:
STEP 1
Review the attached Arkansas Child Nutrition Directors Certification Program Requirements. Complete the attached APPLICATION FOR ACCEPTANCE for the program and mail to:

The application will be reviewed to ensure that it is complete and that education requirements and required recommendations are included. THE APPLICATION FOR ACCEPTANCE DEADLINE IS MAY 23, 2008.
STEP 2
The applicant will be notified of acceptance into the program. Notification of acceptance will include the STEP 2 REGISTRATION FORM, which must be completed and mailed to UCA along with the registration fee. THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 6, 2008.
STEP 3
UCA has made arrangements with several hotels in Conway to provide lodging while the training is in session. The list of hotels will be mailed with the REGISTRATION FORM. Participants must make reservations with the hotel by June 6, 2008, to receive discounted rates.
