The Easter Seals Arkansas Technology and Curriculum Access Center, in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), will offer workshops on the topic of Technology for Students with Disabilities: What’s Available and How to Integrate it into the Curriculum (Beginner Class)
This workshop will be offered on the following dates and locations:

June 12, 2008, 9:00-3:00 Easter Seals Arkansas Technology Lab
This workshop is intended for special education teachers, related services providers, paraprofessionals, and administrators. The workshop is designed to assist staff at the beginner level in learning basics about available technology that can be used to implement instruction in the special education classroom. Each participant will have access to a computer and will have hands-on opportunities to learn about and explore software and power point programs and more. Ample time will be allowed to help beginners navigate through various programs. Professional development certificates for technology training will be awarded at the end of the workshop. Cost of the workshop is $75.00 per participant.
