The Easter Seals Arkansas Technology and Curriculum Access Center in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will be offering workshops on the topic of Technology for Students with Disabilities: What’s Available and How to Integrate Technology into the Curriculum (Intermediate Class). This workshop will be offered on the following dates:
May 29, 9:00-3:00 at Easter Seals Arkansas Technology Lab, Little Rock
June 19, 9:00-3:00 at Easter Seals Arkansas Technology Lab, Little Rock
This workshop is intended for special education teachers, related services providers, paraprofessionals and administrators. The workshop is designed to assist staff at the intermediate level in learning about available technology that can be used to implement instruction in the special education classroom. During the workshop, participants with basic skills will learn how to make books and quizzes on power point, interactive boards and activities with Boardmaker. Participants will be introduced to software from a number of companies and sources. Certificates for professional development technology training will be awarded at the end of the workshop. Cost of the workshop is $75.00 per participant.
