At the March 10, 2008, meeting, the State Board of Education approved the request from the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) to seek public comment on the Proposed Rules Governing the Minimum Qualifications for General Business Managers of Public School Districts. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the ADE auditorium.
This rule was developed to implement Act 1591 of the 2007 session.
Public notice ran in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette from March 30 through April 1, 2008. Written comments will be accepted in Dr. Bobbie Davis’ office, Room 103B, #4 Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201 until 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2008.
