The Arkansas State Board of Education (ASBE) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) are considering implementing revisions to the Rules. A public hearing will be held on May 22, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. on Proposed Rules Governing the Purchase of Instructional Materials by Arkansas School Districts.

The hearing will be held at #4 Capitol Mall, ADE Auditorium, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Written comments should be mailed to the ADE Office of Legal Counsel, #4 Capitol Mall, Room 404-A, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. A copy of the proposed rule is attached. Copies of the proposed rules may also be obtained by accessing the Department’s website at http://arkansased.org.
