The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is authorized by Ark. Code Ann. § 6-20-2202(e)(1) to withhold state aid from school districts that fail to file budgets and other required reports in a timely manner. ADE is required to submit to all districts a list of required reports with the due dates by July 1 so that districts will know well in advance what reports are required and when.
