The eCYBERMISSION Program Office, a division of the United States Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, is pleased to announce that registration for the eCYBERMISSION competition began on August 1, 2008. The goal of the competition is to promote student interest in science, math, and technology. Schools across the state may secure an adult sponsor and encourage students to form teams. This competition is free. Teams are composed of students of the same grade level in grades six through nine.
Last year, 12,000 students from across the United States competed for $1 million in prize money. This year, eCYBERMISSION plans to award $1.2 million to winning teams. To register a team or to learn more about this opportunity, please visit the Web site at www.ecybermission.com or contact eCYBERMISSION control at 1-866-GO-CYBER (1-866-462-9237).
