The Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission is sponsoring the 13th Annual WorldFest. This two-day multicultural festival will be held at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park September 26-27, 2008.

In conjunction with the WorldFest 2008 series of events, an Art and Literary Composition Contest will be held. The theme of the contest is “Diversity and Environment Education for Everyone.” These contests will engage a great number of elementary, middle, and high school students through education and cultural activities.

Each finalist from across the state will receive prizes and/or scholarships. All student finalists will be honored at an award ceremony to be held on Friday, September 26, 2008, 12:00 noon, at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library.

Winners and finalists will be notified via phone and/or mail by September 19, 2008. All entries for artwork must be received by September 10, 2008. Please note that the Art and Literary entries will be returned to students upon request. Entries should be mailed to the following address:

1st Place $250
2nd Place $150
3rd Place $100

Art Contest: 6-8
1st Place $200
2nd Place $150
3rd Place $75

Art Contest: K-5
1st Place $100
2nd Place $75
3rd Place $50
