The Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation (DPSAFT) sent letters August 2008 to each school district notifying the district of the status of their master plan. The master plan status was provided in two parts: the facilities master plan and the maintenance master plan. The status provided was one of three categories: approved, conditionally approved, or disapproved. Districts that received a conditionally approved or disapproved status for either portion of the master plan should contact the division so the unresolved issues can be discussed and corrected.
Districts are advised that the master plan status letters do not address the status of Academic Facilities Partnership Program project applications for 2009-2011. The approved list of the projects for the next biennium will not be published until May 1, 2009. The division can not completely review partnership program project applications until both sections of the master plan are approved.
