The purpose of this communication is to provide information regarding Act 341 of 2007.

The Act provides the opportunity for student recipients of the Challenge Scholarship to volunteer to serve as literacy tutors in a public school or a faith-based educational institution serving students in pre-kindergarten through grade 6 (Pre-K-6).

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the universities has developed policies and procedures for implementing the Act. (See attachments)
