The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality is hosting the Beginning Administrator Induction Fall Follow-Up Meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 11 and 12, 2008. This meeting, for the Beginning Administrators who attended an Induction meeting in July or September 2008, will be held at the Holiday Inn–Airport in Little Rock. Beginning Administrators are to register for either day (November 11th or 12th) and attend only one (1) of the two days. Mentors are not required to attend this Follow-up.
All school districts must assure that each Beginning Building Level Administrator and/or Curriculum/Program Administrator participates in all Induction activities (three meetings per year). Beginning Administrators are those employed under an Additional Licensure Completion Plan (ALCP), or an Initial Administrator License or a Standard Administrator License with less than one-year of administrator experience. Those on an ALCP must participate in all trainings and follow-up meetings during each year the ALCP is active.
