This Commissioner's Memo is to provide each school district with the updated Rules for the Specifications Governing School Bus Design, effective January 1, 2009. This Rule replaces the Specifications Governing School Bus Design dated September 15, 2005. After January 1, 2009, any school bus bid must meet the new minimum specifications. The new Rule may be downloaded from the Arkansas Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation website - http://www.arkansasfacilities.com/transportation/transportation.aspx.
