A new economics and personal finance course is being considered as an optional offering to fulfill the required three units of social studies of the Arkansas Smart Core/Core Curriculum. The Arkansas Department of Education and Economics Arkansas invite Arkansas social studies teachers teaching grades 9-12 social studies classes to respond to an on-line survey on an economics and personal finance class for high school students. The information collected through the survey will be used to make an informed decision regarding the course.
The deadline to participate in the survey is January 16, 2009.
