A Distance Learning Workshop entitled “The Child Nutrition Purchasing Process: Ethics, Quotes, Bids, Contracts and Purchasing Cooperatives” will be presented on THURSDAY, February 5, 2009. This three-hour workshop, covering regulations and new state agency responsibilities related to purchasing for Child Nutrition Programs, will be offered from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. All district personnel involved in the purchasing process for federal Child Nutrition programs, including the district child nutrition director, bookkeeper, and purchasing agent, should attend this 3 hour training.
