This is to inform participants in the Beginning Administrator Induction Program of up-coming program revisions. The program changes and attendance policy go into effect for the 2009-2010 school year.
The initial July and September training sessions will be expanded from two (2) days to three (3) days. Mentors are to attend days one and two. Beginning Administrators will attend days two and three.
Mentors who fully participate in the July or September Training will not be required to attend the first training day during the next two consecutive years if the Mentor serves during those years. Mentors will attend a training for recalibration every third year.
Beginning Administrators will be required to participate in one Fall follow-up and one Spring follow-up to complete Induction obligations for licensure. Mentors are encouraged, but not required to attend the follow-up meetings.
