The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will conduct a compressed interactive videoconference (CIV) on March 12, 2009, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., on the science portion of the Augmented Benchmark for grades five and seven. The ADE will address issues related to the format, alignment, and scoring of science items.
The target audience for the videoconference is science teachers at grades 5 and 7, but other science teachers, elementary and middle school principals, or science curriculum specialists may choose to participate.
Participants are asked to contact the appropriate educational cooperative or school district directly to register for the videoconference. The participating sites are listed on the attached document.
