A Distance Learning Workshop entitled “Incorporating Whole Grains into Recipes and Menus” will be presented on THURSDAY, April 2, 2009. This three-hour workshop covering the definition and types of whole grains, incorporating whole grains into recipes and menus, and marketing whole grains to students, will be offered from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. All district personnel involved in the development, production and service of reimbursable meals for federal Child Nutrition programs, should attend this 3 hour training.
