School districts, co-ops, open-enrollment charter schools, and state-operated education programs are reminded of the importance of the upcoming Arkansas Public School Computer Network (APSCN) Cycle 7 data submission requirements for special education, including exits, referrals, early intervening services, secondary transitions, discipline and early childhood outcomes. APSCN Cycle 7 closes on June 15, 2009. MySped DDS Cycle 7 closes July 15, 2009.
To assist programs in submitting accurate data, the IDEA Data & Research Office at UALR will conduct a one-hour Web-teleconference in repeated sessions on May 11 and 12 for school-age programs. May 22 sessions will be offered for early childhood programs. Training for DDS 3-5 early childhood programs will be June 15, 2009. Pre-registration is required.
