The Easter Seals Arkansas Technology and Curriculum Access Center, in affiliation with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), will offer professional development on the topic of Creating Age Appropriate Materials Using PowerPoint Tools. This workshop is designed for special education teachers, paraprofessionals, speech pathologists, general education teachers, and special education administrators involved with developing materials and age appropriate curriculum for students in special education. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create talking books, lessons, quizzes and communication grids using PowerPoint tools. Participants will be given the opportunity to make and take materials developed during the day on CDs that will be provided. Classes will be limited to 12 participants. Cost of the workshop is $100.00.
Participants are responsible for own lunch. The workshops are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Easter Seals Arkansas, 3920 Woodland Heights Road, Little Rock, Arkansas. This workshop will be offered on the following dates:
