Lesson plans from the academy can be easily modified to fit any ancient culture.
Teachers will receive the Ancient Egyptian Educator Guide for the Classroom and can earn continuing education unit credits for attending this academy. The cost for the academy is $60, which includes lunch. Call 501-396-0353 to register. Space is limited.
Educators from the Arkansas Arts Center are also willing to come to schools to provide teacher academies. If interested, please call 501-396-0367 and ask for Lou Palermo, Curator of Education, to book an academy.
