The Arkansas Council of Teachers of English and Language Arts (ACTELA), an affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English, will award a $300 mini-grant to a teacher of English language arts for a project that will be implemented in the classroom during the 2009-2010 fall semester.
Any English language arts teacher wishing to apply for this mini-grant award must be a member of ACTELA and must follow grant application procedures outlined in the guidelines. The mini-grant recipient will present the project in a conference session at the Arkansas Curriculum Conference (ACC) in November 2010. Applications must be submitted no later than January 31, 2010.
