The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality announces the annual Induction Project Directors’ Update Meetings. Each meeting (8:30 am to 12:00 noon) will be held at the Education Service Cooperatives according to the schedule below. Information will be shared regarding rules, guidelines, polices and procedures for teacher and administrator Induction and Mentoring, Praxis III Performance Assessment, National Board Certification support and Non-Traditional Licensure.

The most urgent item on the agenda is the operation of the ATLAS online data management system for mentoring. The second half of each meeting will be held in the Co-op computer lab where Project Directors and bookkeepers will participate in an ATLAS tutorial.

Each school district is required to have the Induction/Mentoring Project Director and the school district bookkeeper at the respective Co-op meeting. Attendance space is also reserved for the Superintendent (or representative) and the Human Resources Administrator. Reservations for attendance are to be made through the Teacher Center Coordinator at each respective Educational Service Cooperative.
