The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is in the process of creating the 2009-2010 Arkansas Education Directory. Superintendents are asked to verify and update information for the directory. E-mail addresses and Web site URL's need to be accurately listed.
Spreadsheets for each school district and instructions are posted at http://ArkansasEd.org/about/verify.html. These links are also posted on the main Education Directory page and on the main Administrators' page of the department's Web site, ArkansasEd.org.
The deadline for verification is Wednesday, July 22. All districts should reply, either with changes or to confirm that the listed information is correct. The exception to this is information for open-enrollment charter schools. That information will be provided by the ADE charter school office.
The directory will be posted early in the 2009-2010 school year on ArkansasEd.org.
