Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 25-15-201 et seq., notice is hereby given that the Arkansas State Board of Education (ASBE) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is considering Proposed Rules Governing Access to Public School Information on Comprehensive School Improvement Plans.
The proposed rules provide for the provisions set forth in Act 1373 of 2009 which provides for improving parents access to public school data. A copy of the act and the proposed rules are attached.
Public hearings will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, in the Auditorium of the ADE at Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
