The State Board of Education at the July 13, 2009, meeting, approved the Rules Governing Waiver of Earnings Limitation under the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System to go out for Public Comment.
A public hearing will be held in the Auditorium of the Arkansas Department of Education Building at Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock. The date of this public hearing will be on August 20, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
A copy of the revised rules is attached. Please note that the Revised Rules completely repeal the existing Rules, meaning that there will no longer be Department Rules concerning waivers of earnings limitations.
