The Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission (RCDC) is sponsoring the 14th Annual World Fest. This one-day multicultural festival will be held at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park on Friday, September 25, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In conjunction with World Fest 2009 series of events, a World Cultural Fair Contest will be held. The theme of the contest is “One City, Many Cultures.” This contest will engage a great number of elementary, middle, and high school students through education and cultural activities. Judges will recognize Grand Prize, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
To register a school or class, please complete the attached School Participation and World Cultural Fair Registration forms and submit them no later than Wednesday, September 9, 2009, to Ericka Benedicto, World Fest 2009 by facsimile: 501-244-5467 or by mail to World Fest 2009, 500 West Markham, Room 220W, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201.
Additionally, schools that register and participate are eligible for free tour opportunities at the Clinton Presidential Center and Park and at Heifer Village, a global education facility, located on the Heifer International Campus.
